If you have answered ‘Yes’ to any of the above questions for yourself or anyone travelling under this policy, you must contact the Medical Screening Helpline on 0333 300 2160 to declare the condition(s) and ensure that we are able to provide cover.
You will be asked further questions about the condition(s). In the event that we can cover the condition(s) an additional premium may be payable, and/or further terms may be applied.
Some conditions are covered automatically under this Travel Insurance Policy and do not need to be medically screened. A list of these Waived Conditions, can be found here. If you have one or more of these conditions, you do not need to screen, however if you have any conditions not featured on this list you will need to screen in order to have them covered by the policy.
You should also refer to the General Exclusions within the policy wording.

As you have answered No to our medical criteria, you have confirmed that any person to be insured under the policy ONLY have Medical Conditions that fall outside of the medical criteria. What this means is that You will be fully covered for this on the travel insurance policy.

This insurance operates on the following basis:
To be covered, You must be healthy, fit to travel and to undertake Your planned Trip;
The insurance will NOT cover You when You are travelling against the advice of a Medical Practitioner (or would be travelling against the advice of a Medical Practitioner had You sought his/her advice);
The insurance will NOT cover You when You are travelling with the intention of obtaining medical treatment or consultation abroad;
The insurance will NOT cover You if You have any undiagnosed symptoms that require attention or investigation in the future (that is symptoms for which You are awaiting investigations/consultations, or awaiting results of investigations, where the underlying cause has not been established).
