Cruise Cover

In addition to the comprehensive cover benefits of Leisure Guard Travel Insurance, optional cruise cover is available.

Keep Your Cruise Smooth Sailing

Leisure Guard’s Cruise cover means that you can enjoy cruising through destinations in the Caribbean or the Mediterranean with the right levels of cover in place. You have the option to add Cruise Cover to your policy which will provide cover while onboard the ship, when taking part in any activities as well as ashore during your cruise.

The right cover for your holiday

To make sure you get the right level of cover for you and your family, we offer three levels of cover on our insurance policies Premier Plus, Premier and Standard. Our optional Cruise Cover can be added to any level of cover and includes:

  • Missed port departure (up to £1,000)
  • Unused Excursions (up to £300)
  • Cabin confinement (up to £100 per 24 hours)
  • Itinerary change (£100 per port)
Do I need Cruise Cover to be insured for my cruise?

All Leisure Guard policies cover you to embark on a cruise regardless of whether optional Cruise Cover is added. However, Cruise Cover will ensure you are covered for common and expensive cruise related risks that our base travel insurance policies do not cover.
