Our online doctor service is available to Leisure Guard policyholders by phone and via the Doctor Please! app, which is free to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
With Doctor Please! you can easily contact a qualified and experienced doctor by phone or video, should you ever need medical advice during your travels.
If you fall ill while you’re abroad, sometimes it’s not easy to find a doctor who speaks your language without having to travel long distances.
Doctor Please! is an online doctor service that allows you to schedule a remote one-to-one appointment with a qualified and experienced, English-speaking doctor, wherever you are in the world and at a time convenient to you.
This enables you to easily discuss symptoms, diagnosis and treatment options at the earliest possible opportunity.
Via the Doctor Please app, you’ll be able to access to your doctor’s notes and download any prescriptions, enabling you to collect your medication at a local pharmacy.
If you need a doctor, they are just a call away at any time of day or night.
In the event that you or a family member fall ill whilst away, the Doctor Please! app will give you fast access to a call and/or video call with a doctor anytime and from from anywhere. You will also have the added facility to get an electronic prescription sent straight to your smart phone or a local pharmacy.
With Doctor Please! and Leisure Guard Travel Insurance, you don’t have worry about to spending your holiday in a hospital waiting room and can be confident that you are getting the best medical care.
Download the Doctor Please! app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
When you purchase a policy with Leisure Guard, you’ll receive a unique access code for Doctor Please!
Using this code, you’ll be able to create your profile and enter your personal details.
Book a telephone or video call with a qualified and experienced doctor at your convenience.
You can complete your consultation with a doctor at the time and date you selected when booking your call.
After your consultation you’ll be able to access the doctor’s notes and any prescriptions created via the app.
You can then take your prescription to a local pharmacy and collect your medication.
The service can also be accessed via telephone, without the app. We’ll give you all the information you need when we set up your new Leisure Guard Travel Insurance Policy.
