This covers your medical costs, including repatriation cover to get you home. You’ll also be able to contact our emergency medical assistance team 24/7 for help if you’re ill or have an accident abroad. They’ll be able to liaise with medical professionals on your behalf and arrange to get you back home if needed.
Cover for your bags and belongings. This takes care of the things you couldn’t do without while you are away. It will cover your baggage against loss, theft or damage, and will provide reimbursement for those emergency purchases if your bags are delayed at the airport.
If you can’t go or need to come home early (for example, due to an illness) this covers the costs you can’t get back. This now includes cover for cancellation if you have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace within the 14 days before you’re due to travel. If your car breaks down on the way to the airport, or if public transport is delayed, this covers the cost to continue your journey, including any necessary travel and accommodation expenses.
